Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)

My Burden Right NOW

I got back from our youth party around 1-1:30am. I couldn't read because I left my book in my parents car & they are at a hotel in Disneyland. And I can't go to sleep at all, so I decided I can do some blogging. Well, I decided to click on my aunt Nicole's blog & look through some posts I might not have read already. So I scrolled down to one & she was saying how we have to someone to believe in...& that is JESUS. She was just saying some stuff that was making some tears leave my eyes & roll down my cheeks. [I know, I am a big cry baby ;)] So I after I read that post I felt like I needed to pray...& I still need to get off the computer & pray! But I needed to type this first!!! Before I forget anything! Let me just tell you some things about God most people in our world today have heard but will never try to listen or will never hear beccause we haven't told them. GOD IS OUR STRENGTH when we feel weak. When we are on the floor at altar call

A love for the Potter's wheel

It'll take an eternity for me to tell God how thankful I am and how much I love Him.. I'm sure you will all agree. God has been soo good. It's not right to dwell on your past (as a hindrance) but I think this is the exception: When I look at where I was a few short years ago and now, where I stand today. Constantly, I have been changing for the better. On the "Potter's wheel," God has been molding me into the woman He wants me to be. He had to break me down to make me brand new. It wasn't easy, I can tell ya that. I'm sure God had to use a sledge hammer to shatter my "pot" lol :) If you know what I mean. Honestly, most of us don't want to be put out of our "norm." When you're life is going great, you don't think, "In 6 months, I'm going to lose my house/parents/job/best friend/etc." I think almost every situation that happens is God's way of placing me (us) on the table to be molded and shaped
