I give You thanks.

Last night, I decided to stay over at my Papaw & Mamaw's house. I don't know why but I just felt like I needed too (I also LOVE to spend time here whenever I can). I figured I could help out with cleaning the house or helping out with anything my family needed.

Well, I woke up this morning, got dressed, made the bed...everything I usually DON'T ever do, I did today lol. As I walked into the kitchen, Uncle Bill, Aunt Sue & Mamaw were already in there. Uncle Bill had to run to the store to get "low sodium bacon" for breakfast (for Aunt Sue) so it was just the 2 ladies and I :)

Aunt Sue was just praying and praying. Giving thanks to God!...I know that most of you haven't seen her and if you could even fathom what she is going through, you would understand why I am, not necessarily shocked but more so amazed...I really can't describe how I feel...She gives thanks to God every minute. I'm not even exaggerating. Through every pain that she feels and every every trial...she gives thanks :)

She has taught me something and she doesn't even know it. :)

Give thanks through ALL things!

This song has been my heart all day.

"Thanks... Thanks... I give You thanks for all You've done... I am so blessed... My soul has found rest. Oh Lord, I give you thanks."

*sorry, this was a quick post!*

Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)

Coincidence? I think not.

There came a time in my life where I needed to get out from being under the spotlight...  To get away for awhile.  To be alone. To deal with things in my life. And now I'm here :) writing...  I  am currently attending North-West College to become a Pharmacy Technician.  (I also work here during the day) A fellow pharmacy student was talking to me before class... She poured her heart out to me. She was crying-tears rolling down her cheeks. She was hurting. She was contemplating taking drugs again. She was losing her faith in God. And there I was.. A child of God Filled with the Holy Ghost Having peace in my life  Knowing that God hears me We cried together. The people that surround us need to hear encouragement and love from God's people. They need the opportunity to walk into a church that preaches truth, that has life! They need to see God through you!  Don't be afraid to cry with them. God put you with them at that moment... God knew they needed you ...

Little Miss is Back :)

Well, well, well. :) Look who just posted. Meagan Rowell is coming back to the blog-o-sphere! After I stopped blogging, I was thinking of what I had posted. (in 2010) *thoughts* Did it really help anybody with their walk with God? Did it honestly help?! Several people emailed me and well, I'm starting it back up, aren't I. :) Look forward to more posts... and ladies, new hair tutorials ;) I've got a few treats up my sleeve for this new "chapter"  in "They Say... "She is Unashamed." Love, Meggs
