This is REVIVAL!

"This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Neil Armstrong I tried so hard last night to remember this quote! It just popped in my head during the preaching! Setting foot on the moon was a big achievement! Now, it is happening again...But with the church :) Our young people have been going out on Monday nights, Wednesday nights before church [also know as pre-service outreach!!! Just like pre-service prayer :) lol], and Sundays am&pm. It's just a small step for us but when you think about it, it's a big leap for all of the church and the Kingdom of God. We are going out there and being led of the Spirit! We have been praying and fasting for revival! Guess what!?!? It's going to happen just like God promised! We are going to see our church filled and packed out every service. It will happen!!!! SOON!!! "Get ready for revival!! Open up your nets, get ready for a catch! Get ready for revival! First you must believe, then you will re

The New Chef of the House

Heyy everyone! :) Meagan here! Or maybe, Chef Rowell would be better ;) Lol. Yesterday was a turning point in my "life" I guess. I decided to cook!! Not just regular, plain ole' spaghetti or pizza. I mean REALLY, get the skillet and the pans out! :) I figured this out around 3pm and started to look on websites for lovely recipes that are easy enough for me to start out. That don't take a lot of time and not too complicated :) I looked in the kitchen and realized that I can NEVER work in a dirty space!! So guess what?! I cleaned the kitchen AND the living/dining room!! :) Wasn't Mom pleased when she got home and I told her I was cooking tonight. She willingly accepted my request to head to the grocery store. I made " Spring Vegetable Fettuccine " Everything turned out amazing :) I could have done a few more things to make it better (I didn't realize until we were eating). But it's a learning experience. You don't know everything all

The Fear of Losing to You

When you are in the army, you never know when the enemy will strike. A sneak attack could come at any moment. What do you do? You prepare for it. You are always ready to fight. Always ready to go into battle. Did you know that's how it is for the church too? For young people. For Elders and the Saints. For the Pastor and his family. We are an army preparing for battle. A battle against the devil himself. Preparation is necessary. You also need to be ready at all times for an attack. I have heard stories of people who were so used of God in the services that they were exhausted and wiped out! All they wanted to do was go home and go to sleep. No party after the service ... The next day, the devil is attacking them with everything he can think of. Anger, depression, condemnation, prayerlessness. He sends spirits to attack you and the list goes ON & ON!! Do you want to know why it happens? HE IS AFRAID OF YOU! YES! The devil is shaking in his boots!!!!!! He knows how po

Where Have You Fallen?

Mathew 13: 3-9 " And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony place, where they had not much eath: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth good fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear . " Have you fallen by the way side? The most simple and basic definitions of 'way side' are " being, situated, or found at or along the wayside" and " the side or edge of a road." To be on the way side is to be on the edge or the border of the world. You probably will have one foot
