Oh my goodness!!! This is a surprise!!! I was voted as " Apostolic Beauty " on Classic Mary Moments !! Some people might think I'm crazy but HEY! It's an honor to be even considered ;) click on the links to go to her blog. Now, who nominated me?? Lol! Love you guys!!!

The Beginning

I used to think the "beginning was when I was born .. I turned 8, recieved the Holy Ghost , and was baptized in Jesus name . After  I came out of the water, I felt new... I thought this was ' the beginning' .. When I was old enough to celebrate New Years , the "new" beginning would be the exact second the clock struck midnight. Forgetting the past and moving forward with a clean slate.. Then, I heard that song that goes something like this, "It's a new season . It's a new day ...." Brand new start every day. I thought it stopped there.. There wasn't another beginning after that, was there? Last night, Jan. 20, '11 , I came to the realization that NO! It doesn't stop there! Every time I ask God to forgive me and wash away my sins with the blood of Jesus, THAT is when I'm brand new. I could be having a horrible "new day" but when I ask God to forgive me, that's when a new beginning starts .

Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)

twenty-eleven

2011, already?? Time has been going too fast lately. I'll be 17 this year... okay, in like another 12 months ;) haha. Our first Sunday services were absolutely incredible. I was sad that I had a sprained ankle and couldn't shout/jump/run the aisles but hey, God knew I was leaping on the inside :) lol. Sunday night: In song service, they sang "Hear Us From Heaven" and I literally wept the whole entire time. [Here is the link for the song on youtube] Hear Us From Heaven - Jared Anderson My Pastor preached that morning about "Passion"... For outreach and prayer. A burden for the lost like God had... That He still has! I realized I always asked in prayer for God to give me a burden like He HAD for the lost. When I should be asking Him to give me the burden He HAS. He still has that same burden. It hasn't diminished or gone away. He gets things done through us. He wants to transfer the burden He has to us. I guess you can call this a revelation :)
