My First Missions Trip (Part 3)

So sorry folks! I've been busy and haven't been able to post quickly :)

Here is Day 3!!!

Also, another apology, I am sorry I'm not super detailed like Nicole & Bethany Wakefield are on their blog! LOL

This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole trip...
Overlooking the city of Puebla

Walking down the streets!

Here are a few of us girls on Friday night ready for the service!
Me, Sofia, Emily, Rachel, Brittany, Karoline, & Breana

I love these two girls :) Emily & Karoline
Awesome girls to hang out with!

Shy & bashful Leslie lol She really is quiet haha

Our first service there was so powerful!
During song service, we had a strong move of God!
People were just crying & praying!
So touching

During song service..
You can see that the metal door was pushed open (it was so hot inside)
and allowed for more room to sit
PACKED HOUSE!

We haven't even got to the preaching yet and people were in the altar!

Bro. Pedro preaching! A younger guy from our group (he has family in Puebla) preached this night and it was an awesome message. The church & visitors responded to the Word of God!

As you can see, people were praying & seeking God
The lady in the purple shirt is a Pastor's wife somewhere in Mexico I believe.
*Nicole & Beth: correct me if I am wrong*

Praying for the son of a Pastor in Mexico

The Wakefield family

Friendships were formed during this missions trip & some were made stronger <3
Love these girls.

At the end of the night, everyone was all smiles!
*thumbs up*

The Struggle is Real

I am not usually the person who spreads their woes on Facebook, Instagram, or blog. Tonight may be the exception but I will refrain from letting emotions get the best of me. We are all facing trials. Whether you are 16 years old and tempted to cut your hair, 18 years old and thinking about leaving the church since you are technically an 'adult', 21 years old and being pressured to drink, or 24 years old and struggling with hurt and depression. The struggle is REAL! The truth is, we are all at different points in our walk with God and, believe it or not, the trials are ALL God-ordained. They have been put in our life specifically for us and to make us more like Christ. The struggles you are facing are a test of your faith and love for God, but they are also there so you can learn from your mistakes and help others when they go through the same trial. Honey, if you are dealing with hurt, I could quote scripture after scripture giving you encouragement and to cast your car...

Little Miss is Back :)

Well, well, well. :) Look who just posted. Meagan Rowell is coming back to the blog-o-sphere! After I stopped blogging, I was thinking of what I had posted. (in 2010) *thoughts* Did it really help anybody with their walk with God? Did it honestly help?! Several people emailed me and well, I'm starting it back up, aren't I. :) Look forward to more posts... and ladies, new hair tutorials ;) I've got a few treats up my sleeve for this new "chapter"  in "They Say... "She is Unashamed." Love, Meggs

Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)
