Finding Your Voice

It's one of those nights...

Where I wish I could go back about 5 years to start all over. Have you ever had those days? Where we can be 15 again, before life got bumpy or trials came our way. Before there was a death, or a tragedy.

I'm going to be pretty honest with all you girls out there who still read my blog. These nights have been an often occurrence since the beginning of the new year. It's been nonstop. The trials, the storms, the tests; it seems like they have been back-to-back.

We have all faced opposition. We have gone through a few storms. Some of us have even turned away from the Truth because of discouragement or hurt.

Let me tell you what has kept me, and most importantly, what can keep you.

Prayer.

God only knows how many times I laid my burdens on the altar during prayer. The alone time with Him was the only thing that could comfort me most days.

This thought came to my mind a couple of days ago on a rainy day before work,
"Finding your voice in prayer..."

My friends, my sisters; we need to find our voice in prayer.

Finding your voice in prayer...
...is finding your voice on the battlefield
...is fighting for revival
...is saving your friends' souls
...is strengthening your Pastor

God comforts, strengthens, encourages, and pours out His love when we pray. He is helping me get through the toughest times in my life, and without Him, who knows where I'd be.

I love you girls, and I pray for each and every one of us to make it through.

Love, Megg

Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)

Family Weekend (Day 2)

Go to "Family Weekend (Day 1)" here :) Day 2: Celebrate Uncle Jerry Sr. and Aunt Loretta's 45th wedding anniversary :) / Family Reunion SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! Get this.. my Uncle Jerry Sr. thought he was going to preach "Family Weekend" at Jerry Jr.'s church in Yuma. Lol. He thought it was just the church and their families. He called his son (Jerry Jr) and asked if Aunt Marg and Uncle Babs could come (remember, they didn't know it was the Rowell family that was actually there) so Jerry Jr said OF COURSE! :) LOL we had to keep the surprise from Uncle Jerry Sr and Aunt Loretta. (Waiting for the wonderful couple to arrive) My cousin Jerry Jr pretended like it was a normal service and when he gave the signal, we stood up and faced Uncle Jerry Sr and Aunt Loretta. They were soooo shocked! :) We started singing "Happy Anniversary to you" to the tune of  the "Happy Birthday" song. The service was sooo beautiful. They played their wedd
