Do You Want Big & Beautiful Curls???

Hello my Ladies!!! :)

I started curling my hair at a young age (too young to remember, if you know what I mean lol). I've seen pictures of TIGHT POODLE curls ;)

Recently, I've been wanting looser locks!!!!!!

Soooo.... I heard that doubling up on hot sticks . . .

*picture of conair hot sticks*

. . . works REALLY good!!!

Here is the low-down of how my hair was:

Now, my hair is SUPER striaght, was permed SEVERAL times, and was just too thin and damaged!!! *tear :'( So, (3 years ago, I got my last perm) it JUST started growing and getting thicker this year :) *happy happy happy face!!*

When I first tried doing the double rolling, it would leave creases (yes, that's how thin my hair was). I was like "NO WAY!!! I'm never going to do this again!!!" Up until a couple months ago at least :) lol!

I created some big, bold & beautiful curls!!! *with the help of Aussie Freeze hairspray ;)*

You see!?!? No more tight poodle-looking curls!! :) Makes me so happy!!! I just thought I'd share with my lovely ladies :) Go ahead and try!!! And don't forget to spray them good!!! 'Cause if you're a shouter/aisle runner/jumper/Holy Ghost dance like I am, then you're going to need it ;) lol

With much love,
Meggaroo :)

Alina! hey girl! If any girls from your church have extra hot sticks, ask to use them :) of course, give them back after your done lol! I love my hair like this now! :))

Also, you can just make bigger sections and roll ur hair with the hot sticks you have :) definitely try it out!
HELLLLLLOOOOO CURLS!!!!!
Okay so as you know I have a lot of hair, so you think i can roll all my hair at once with those. Oh on that thrift store I signed up for there coupons too. You should too. They sent me a 50% percent off entire purchase.... Love it

Lol hey Sis!

I totally think you can!!! :) If you have thick hair *I think u do* then try it with one hotstick instead of doubling up on them. Just try it the 1st time and if you don't like it, then move onto doubling the hotsticks :)

Love you sis! and God bless

Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)

A love for the Potter's wheel

It'll take an eternity for me to tell God how thankful I am and how much I love Him.. I'm sure you will all agree. God has been soo good. It's not right to dwell on your past (as a hindrance) but I think this is the exception: When I look at where I was a few short years ago and now, where I stand today. Constantly, I have been changing for the better. On the "Potter's wheel," God has been molding me into the woman He wants me to be. He had to break me down to make me brand new. It wasn't easy, I can tell ya that. I'm sure God had to use a sledge hammer to shatter my "pot" lol :) If you know what I mean. Honestly, most of us don't want to be put out of our "norm." When you're life is going great, you don't think, "In 6 months, I'm going to lose my house/parents/job/best friend/etc." I think almost every situation that happens is God's way of placing me (us) on the table to be molded and shaped

Courage in the Altar

It takes courage to walk to the altar (a lot of the time). Especially when you are struggling and going through trials. Most of us feel embarrassed or have too much pride to cry in the altar, shout, or dance in the Spirit. It really does amaze me.. It's like we are intimidated by other women/men.. Have you ever noticed it? Courage: " have the courage of one's convictions, to  act   in accordance with one's beliefs, especially in spite of criticism." (dictionary.com) I've heard plenty of people say, "The day so&so shouts and runs the aisles is when I'll do it." I REALLY don't get it! Do these people not have the revelation of worship, praise, and not to care what others are going to think about them?? Sometimes, worship is a life or death situation. :/ Seriously. You won't give God 100% of your praise... You're holding back.. You won't let loose. The saints of God get victory through prayer and worship.
