This is REVIVAL!

"This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
Neil Armstrong

I tried so hard last night to remember this quote!
It just popped in my head during the preaching!

Setting foot on the moon was a big achievement!
Now, it is happening again...But with the church :)

Our young people have been going out on Monday nights, Wednesday nights before church [also know as pre-service outreach!!! Just like pre-service prayer :) lol], and Sundays am&pm. It's just a small step for us but when you think about it, it's a big leap for all of the church and the Kingdom of God.

We are going out there and being led of the Spirit! We have been praying and fasting for revival! Guess what!?!? It's going to happen just like God promised! We are going to see our church filled and packed out every service. It will happen!!!! SOON!!!

"Get ready for revival!!
Open up your nets, get ready for a catch!
Get ready for revival!
First you must believe, then you will recieve.
Get ready for revival!
Can you feel it? Can you feel it?
Can you feel the fire?
Do you want it? Do you want it?
Do you want the fire?
YES I WANT! YES I WANT IT!
YES I WANT THE FIRE!!"

Pastor Clark is having Steven, who has a strong burden for outreach, and several other guys in our youth go up to the mountain and find a rock. We are going to call that rock the "Rock of Evangelism" and place it on our table that's right in front of the pulpit (used for incense prayer). God is doing great things!!!

Praise God! I can't wait until Sunday morning when we all march out and pray for our city. It is going to look like an APOSTOLIC ARMY taking souls for Jesus!!!

They got the stones already :) I can't wait to see it under the table!
Wonderful! God WILL reward your labor!

The Struggle is Real

I am not usually the person who spreads their woes on Facebook, Instagram, or blog. Tonight may be the exception but I will refrain from letting emotions get the best of me. We are all facing trials. Whether you are 16 years old and tempted to cut your hair, 18 years old and thinking about leaving the church since you are technically an 'adult', 21 years old and being pressured to drink, or 24 years old and struggling with hurt and depression. The struggle is REAL! The truth is, we are all at different points in our walk with God and, believe it or not, the trials are ALL God-ordained. They have been put in our life specifically for us and to make us more like Christ. The struggles you are facing are a test of your faith and love for God, but they are also there so you can learn from your mistakes and help others when they go through the same trial. Honey, if you are dealing with hurt, I could quote scripture after scripture giving you encouragement and to cast your car...

Little Miss is Back :)

Well, well, well. :) Look who just posted. Meagan Rowell is coming back to the blog-o-sphere! After I stopped blogging, I was thinking of what I had posted. (in 2010) *thoughts* Did it really help anybody with their walk with God? Did it honestly help?! Several people emailed me and well, I'm starting it back up, aren't I. :) Look forward to more posts... and ladies, new hair tutorials ;) I've got a few treats up my sleeve for this new "chapter"  in "They Say... "She is Unashamed." Love, Meggs

Bible Quizzer

Umm.... I had no idea what I was getting myself into lol! This is my first year of Bible Quizzing and man! I love it!!!!! :D I can't wait to go to the competitions!! :D We have to learn over 400 verses but as Bro. Vick & Brendan said "Don't look at the numbers." It's easier when you don't look at numbers and you just memorize and go over them everyday!!! I'm so excited!!! It has motivated me to get done with schoolwork lol. I hope we have a good (NOOO, a GREAT!) team so we can go to more competitions. :) Fun & traveling! Which teams do you know that are awesome Bible Quizzers?? Do you have any tips for a first time BQ??? :)
