School starts September 7th. . . I'm going to be busy with everything from finding a job to trying to make it to outreach and youth services. There is going to be so much homework and a lot of studying this year. :/ Unbelievable. By the way, I do Independent Studies with Connections Academy and it is all online. I pretty much teach myself :/ which is why I will be so busy! I apologize *in advance* for the lack of posts that are soon to come :( There was my random part of the post... Sooooooo!!! I went to Quality Thrift store on Saturday (w/my mommy)!!! Eeeek! WOW!!! GREAT DEALS and lovely vintage finds :D I just looked up the address: 4433 Holt Blvd Montclair, CA 91763 :) hope you can stop by and shop around lol Anyways, I got a new suit :) size 2P *and it fits PERFECTLY!! Hello my Ladies!!! :) I started curling my hair at a young age (too young to remember, if you know what I mean lol). I've seen pictures of TIGHT POODLE curls ;) Recently, I've been wanting looser locks!!!!!! Soooo.... I heard that doubling up on hot sticks . . . *picture of conair hot sticks* . . . works REALLY good!!! Here is the low-down of how my hair was: Now, my hair is SUPER striaght, was permed SEVERAL times, and was just too thin and damaged!!! *tear :'( So, (3 years ago, I got my last perm) it JUST started growing and getting thicker this year :) *happy happy happy face!!* When I first tried doing the double rolling, it would leave creases (yes, that's how thin my hair was). I was like "NO WAY!!! I'm never going to do this again!!!" Up until a couple months ago at least :) lol! I created some big, bold & beautiful curls!!! *with the help of Aussie Freeze hairspray ;)* You see!?!? No more tight poodle-looking curls!! :) ...

Its that really cute guy you met at the youth service Friday night!!! *You end up texting the boy before your friend* Do we do that with God ?? We see God's "text" and then something else comes up! "I got a phone call!" "I had to pay some bills that were due---yesterday!!!" Something ALWAYS comes up right when God calls!!! Has this ever happened to you? You wake up in the morning and think about your 'prayer closet'... You lay there until it's too late and you have to get dressed and ready for work or school. You said you would get to it later but around noontime, you have even more things you have to finish. Has this ever happened to you? You're texting your friends before bed... You look over at your Bible and think about prayer before you lay down to sleep....

A couple Sundays back, my Auntie Kristy (youth pastor's wife) had us write down names of who we wanted to speak in our class...Special Speakers :) And today we got Sis. Letty, a very respected saint in our church, and boy oh boy! It was so good! She talked about potential. At the end of the class, Steven Orell said, "We should have taped this!" Last night: My goodness! I had soo much fun last night!!!!!! Okay :) Awhile ago, Mary [from Classic Mary Moments   ] suggested I do a post about how to use picnik.com   !!! And all the cool editing tools :) I'll use this picture: and show the end result :) Really, it's simple! I'll explain it to you in 4 steps! You just have to be creative!!! Kendra Thaler also uses picnik.com on some of her photos. Check out her page and see how she uses picnik :) For picnik, there are premium and FREE effects. I use the FREE ones :) the effects will say if it's premium or not. Step 1: after I uploaded my photo on picnik, I do touch ups (rotate, use red eye if need be, crop the photo for a more closed-in effect if I feel like it'll look better, and adjust the exposure and color) You have to fiddle with the adjusting and some stuff you won't even use because it might not look right :) but give it a try because ya neva know lol Step 2: go to the 'create' tab and go to touch ups. I am just soo ready to go to church tonight. I haven't been to church in a week because we were camping. I need it really bad today. I miss church! I only missed 3 services (Wednesday night and the 2 services on Sunday) but I feel like that's way too much. Lol. I haven't missed a service in a longggg time and it feels so weird . I don't know how people don't go to church!! I ALWAYS want to be there. I ALWAYS want to pray there. I ALWAYS get strength there when I'm feeling weak. I can't say NO to going to church!!! "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Grandma Eunice passed away this morning. We appreciate your prayers. Loves<3

My Grandma Eunice has been in a convalescent home for awhile and in the last 3 months, she has gotten really bad sick (as Mamaw describes it to her grandbabies). This afternoon, I got a text from Mamaw saying Grandma Great was doing really bad. Like how Aunt Sue was the morning she passed away. Please keep our family in your prayers. A lot has happened, thank you!

*Calling all Apostolic - Pentecostals* Do you ever feel like you're the only one who is different at school or work? The only one whose religion is TRUE and SEPARATED? That hears preaching from the Word of God and not from the "how-to" books? Yes, when we start up a conversation about what religion we are, they claim Christianity and know Jesus Christ is Lord, yet, they live amongst the world. Unseparated. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you," We feel like we're the only ones in school who don't wear mini-skirts, the way-to-revealing tops (also known as the how-much-skin-can-i-show-and-not-get-in-trouble-for-it clothing)??? For guys, you get asked the question, "Aren't you hot!?" way too much. Enough to get on your nerves. Being the only person they see dressed like this, at the very least you could say that ...

Hmm.... I have a month until school starts.... And all of my friends start next week....
